Imagine a mountainside slowly loading with snow, falling and layering in a uniform and regular manner. As the load increases, pressure builds and builds. Somewhere in the load a few flakes shift and buckle, moving the flakes near by. Those stir others, cracks appear and suddenly a pile of snow flakes 6 feet deep and 200 feet wide is flying wildly and unpredictably down slope. Ghandi could be that inital snowflake, Rosa Parks too, the point could be an idea, an action an idividual a group. IT COULD BE YOU!
Government and the corporate elite work hard to keep everything working for their benefit. They study chaos theory, social patterns and behavior, and anything else to help them keep us from rising up and to keep the money flowing in. They know more about why we act certain ways than we do! Why does the vast majority of the US population believe our government is inept, corrupt and in the pockets of corporations but just complain? Because it's the other parties fault? Because we still can afford to have 1.8 cars per person? Because we get to watch an average of 4 and a half hours of TV per day?
Our social world as it relates to government is entirely disjointed. Check this out: 90% of 8-16 year olds have viewed porn online but gay marriage is the political issue that we fight over. Guess which one makes $1,000,000,000 a year? Or 9-11: 2819 people killed and we call french fries "freedom fries", buy duct tape and plastic, give up rights, accept spying on pacifists. We give up rights and privacy, we advocate torture and the lost of ANOTHER 2800 people (soldiers) because we feel safer that way. Meanwhile, EVERY YEAR 15,000+ people die in drunk driving accidents, GUARANTEED! Why do we go crazy about one and not the other? Guess what? We are told to and then we then tell each other too.
Our Think Tank is a group for free thinking. Lets encourage conversation with a BS filter on it. Let's do more than that. It's time to start standing up, encouraging each other and making noise!
